Although Cuba has managed to eliminate many of the tropical diseases, it is good to take some measures including a contact with a Travel Health Clinic or Vaccination Centre in your country some weeks before your departure to Cuba, especially if you are travelling with children.

Hepatitis A – It’s recommended for all travellers

Typhoid – It‘s recommended for all travellers

Tetanus Diphtheria – It is recommended if you have not reactivated it the last 10 years.

Hepatitis B – Recommended for travellers who are going to have intimate contact with local residents or plan to stay in Cuba for several months.

Rabies- For travellers who are going to have contact with animals, or are going to live in rural areas far away from the closest medical centre.

Measles, mumps, and rubella – Recommended for travellers that has not been vaccinated before.
